Kara and his family purchased the local Dunkend Butchers in 2017 ensuring that the Dunkeld area continues to have a local store for high-quality meat.
“It's all about providing Fresh, Ethical, Local Produce with Low Carbon Miles to the community.”
We are continually looking at how we can improve our range of meats and widen the range of services that we offer. Recently we introduced Returnable Glass Bottled Milk where locals can enjoy their morning Coffee and Tea knowing that they are helping to reduce plastic waste.

Growing up in a Butcher's shop in London Kara has been enthusiastic about food from a young age. Working as the Executive Chef at both the Trump Turnberry Luxury Resort and 5-star Fornab Castle, Kara is experienced in producing high-quality food. He brings all these skills to providing Great Food with Great Meat.
